Editorial & Accuracy Policy
Last reviewed 15 September 2026
Forextity publishes calculators, reference guides and market context for traders. This policy explains how that material is produced, who is responsible for it, how accuracy is checked, and how we keep editorial decisions independent of the people who pay for advertising.
Who is responsible
Mofor Devalois Apongshine
Founder & CEO — final editorial responsibility for every page on Forextity. Enquiries and corrections:
forextitysupport@gmail.com
Forextity does not publish content under invented author names or fictional credentials. Material is written and reviewed in-house, and where a page relies on an external standard or formula, the standard is named so you can check it yourself.
How our content is produced
- Guides explain mechanics, not trades. Each Academy article covers a defined concept — position sizing, pip value, margin and leverage, risk-to-reward, drawdown mathematics, session overlaps, volatility, currency strength, prop-firm rules, and trading psychology — with the arithmetic shown so it can be verified by hand.
- Formulas are standard and cited. Calculator behaviour is derived from conventional market formulas rather than proprietary black boxes. The same inputs will produce the same output every time.
- No performance claims. We do not claim a win rate, a return, or that any tool makes money. Tools manage risk; they do not create edge.
- Market content is attributed. News and market commentary shown in the app is labelled with the publishing outlet it came from. We do not present third-party reporting as our own.
How accuracy is checked
- Data provenance. Every price carries a source tag and a quote time, documented on the Data & Methodology page.
- Cross-checking. Where independent feeds exist for the same instrument, values are cross-checked rather than trusted blindly from one source.
- Deterministic calculators. Calculator results are pure functions of the inputs and the current quote, so a reported discrepancy can always be reproduced.
- Review on change. Pages are reviewed whenever the tool, formula, or data source they describe changes, and the review date shown on the page is updated.
Corrections
If we publish something inaccurate, we fix it. The process is deliberately simple:
- Email forextitysupport@gmail.com with the page, what is wrong, and — if possible — a source that shows the correct position.
- We verify against primary sources. Errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed, without waiting for a review cycle.
- Corrections that change the substance of a page are noted on the page itself, with the date. Silent rewrites of substantive facts are not something we do.
- If we conclude that the original content was right, we explain why rather than leaving the report unanswered.
Independence from advertisers and partners
- Advertising and affiliate relationships never determine the result of a calculation, the content of a guide, or which tools exist.
- We do not accept payment to rank a broker, prop firm, or product in editorial content, and we do not publish "reviews" that are bought.
- Partner links are disclosed. Where a link is commercial, it is treated as advertising under our Advertising Policy.
- No advertiser sees editorial material before publication and none has a right of approval or removal.
Advertising on the site
Display advertising is served programmatically by Google AdSense and is not curated by Forextity on an individual-ad basis. Ads are labelled as advertising, are kept visually separate from calculators and results, and are never placed in a way designed to be mistaken for site content or for a control. Full detail is on the Advertising Policy page.
What we will not publish
- Buy or sell signals, trade calls, or "next move" predictions.
- Personalised financial advice or recommendations for an individual's circumstances.
- Guaranteed-return, risk-free, or get-rich-quick claims.
- Content that misrepresents risk, or that encourages trading with money you cannot afford to lose.
Educational purpose. Everything on Forextity is general information and calculation tooling. It is not tailored to your objectives, financial situation or needs, and it is not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional. Trading foreign exchange and CFDs carries a high level of risk to your capital.
