Accessibility Statement

Forextity is a free tool used by traders worldwide, including people who rely on assistive technology. This statement describes what we do to keep it usable, what is not yet perfect, and how to tell us when something is not working for you.
Our approach
We build towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA as a practical target. We are not able to claim full conformance today — the platform is large, data-heavy and constantly changing — so we measure and improve rather than assert.
What we do
- Keyboard operation. Interactive controls — calculators, tabs, filters, dialogs and the mobile menu — are reachable and operable with a keyboard, and focus states are visible.
- Reduced motion. Animations, floating cards and scroll effects are disabled when your device requests reduced motion at the operating-system level.
- Language and direction. The document declares its language, and right-to-left layout is applied automatically for Arabic, Urdu and Persian.
- Labelling. Form inputs on the calculators carry visible labels, chart containers and canvas graphics are marked decorative or described in accompanying text, and icon-only buttons carry accessible names.
- Contrast and theming. A high-contrast light theme and a dark theme are both available from Settings, so you can choose whichever suits your vision and environment.
- No reliance on colour alone. Price direction is shown with a sign and an arrow as well as colour; impact levels in the calendar are labelled, not just colour-coded.
- Text scaling. Layouts are built with relative sizing and reflow at large browser zoom levels and on small screens.
Known limitations
- Charts and canvas graphics. The live equity-curve chart and the market visuals are rendered as canvas, which assistive technology cannot interpret. Every figure shown in a chart is also available as text next to it.
- Third-party widgets. The embedded TradingView chart and some news content are supplied by third parties and we cannot guarantee their accessibility. We keep them optional in the sense that no calculator depends on them.
- Dense data tables. The pip and margin matrix is horizontally scrollable, which is awkward on very small screens with screen magnification.
- Live-updating values. Price displays change frequently and are not announced by screen readers on every tick, because constant interruption would be worse. Structured, stable content — guides, methodology, policy pages — is fully readable.
What we are working on
- Text alternatives for the remaining data visualisations.
- Improving table navigation for the matrix view on small screens.
- Auditing remaining contrast ratios against WCAG 2.2 AA in both themes.

Describe what you were trying to do rather than how to fix it — that is the most useful form. We treat accessibility reports with the same priority as accuracy corrections.
